When Barb and her late husband Bill started this company, they did so because they believed in living life with purpose and wanted to teach others to do the same. They believed that wherever your life takes you, it should bring you joy, both at work and at home. Bill & Barb lived their lives this way, teaching their passion for improved interpersonal skills to corporations and teams around North America and speaking on cruise ships all over the world.
When Bill passed away in August of 2014, Barb knew that the best way to honour his life was to continue their "together purpose" of speaking and teaching those (often-neglected) "soft" skills, that allow us to truly understand the people that we live with & work with every day. Life is short - no matter how many years we get - so make it count for something every day!
To ensure that The Centre could meet the ever-changing needs of our clients, Barb welcomed her son Chris & daughter-in-law Andrea to the team of professional speakers! When Chris & Andrea joined The Centre, they brought a fresh & exciting perspective to the workshops that are offered. Since that time, Chris and Andrea have also become Certified Human Behaviour Specialists, teaching and training with Barb and on their own. This transition made it possible for Barb to become The Centre's Master Speaker and Trainer, delivering the most cutting-edge presentations that The Centre has in its program.
Today, Barb, Chris and Andrea enjoy working together to uphold the legacy that started as a great partnership, of the ever-famous 'Dynamic Duo' of Bill & Barb. While the make-up of The Centre has changed over the years, the mission remains the same:
"To share our passion for ongoing personal and professional development, through teaching people how to improve relationships with others, at work and at home."
